The initiative called &#8220;Washington&#8217;s Wild Future: a Partnership for Fish and Wildlife&#8221; is meant to increase the relationship WDFW has with the public, and increase support for conservation and recreation on public lands.<\/p>\n<p>Comments are accepted through October 31, 2105 at the WDFW website:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wdfw.wa.gov\/wildfuture\">http:\/\/wdfw.wa.gov\/wildfuture<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is our opportunity to comment AGAIN to WDFW to save Barnaby Slough\u00a0from the SRSC project of diverting the Skagit River into the Barnaby Slough.<\/p>\n<p>And its another opportunity to have your comments heard to save a valuable peaceful part of the upriver community that is used by many for recreation.<\/p>\n<p>Please write in before October 31, 2015 and ask WDFW to build a relationship with the hunters, fishers, outdoor recreation groups and others interested in fish and wildlife in Washington.
